So a lot of you might have seen it on my Instagram, lately I’ve been living my life, I’ve been way more social at been going out with friends and just living the good life you know. I mean I’m young, so why not.
But of course when you go out, when you maybe drink a little bit, when you stay up late and stuff, your skin really needs hydration and to be taken care of. So therefore I thought I’m going to film you an actual morning after a night out and show you how I take care of my skin and what I do to really bring back moisture and hydration into my skin and prep it for the next day or the next week ahead.
Some of you might also know that I have quite sensitive skin. So I can’t just apply random products on my skin. I always try to make smart choices and only use products where I know that there are good ingredients in it.
For this Video I collaborated with DOBI.ch and they send me some products from REF. An innovative Swedish brand aiming to communicate the concept of natural beauty. All their products are 100% natural & vegan. They believe in a future where animals can live side by side with humans without any exploitation.
So the video is actually me showing the process but I wanna give you some inside details and thought what better way to do this, than write it down on my blog.
The first step I do in the morning, of course after rinsing my face with water, I put on the REF Skin Ezym Peel Face Mask . The peeling mask with AHA and BHA acids removes dead skin cells. It’s actually recommended to apply the mask in the evening before bedtime because there could be a little bit of redness afterwards but I actually didn’t experience that after I used it so for me it was okay to use it in the morning. Then I massaged the mask gently into the skin and waited for approximately 2 minutes and then rinsed my face thoroughly with lukewarm water.
Next up of course after the night out and after using makeup and stuff there is still a possibility that in the morning there will be a little bit of makeup residue on your skin and in your pores. So it’s very very important to also wash your face in the morning. I used the REF Skin Cleansing Face Wash and cleanseD my face with that. The refreshing foam thoroughly removes impurities without affecting the skin’s natural moisture balance. The rehydrating Vitamin B5 provides a smooth skin feeling after cleansing.
So I am actually a sucker for toner. And even though I washed my face and I did the mask I love to go over with a little bit of the REF Skin Cleansing Toner on a pad and just make sure that there is no makeup or oil residue left. It’s a pH-neutral tonic which gently cleanses and removes impurities and make-up residues. The Acai extract and vitamin B5 also help refreshing and moisturizing the skin.
STEPS 4 & 5
Of course after all that washing and toning and everything I wanted to bring back a little bit of moisture into my skin. Therefore I used the REF Skin Moisture 24-h cream. And after that I used the REF Skin Moisture Eye Cream just for underneath my eyes. The skin around the eyes is very very sensitive so you have to be careful with the products that you use. This moisturizing formula with hyaluronic acid and silk tree extract soothes and refreshes the skin and was formulated for the sensitive skin of the eye area.
Yes and after that I’m actually done with the skin care part. Then I just got ready for the day. Oh and I forgot to do my eyebrows but you know it was Sunday it doesn’t really matter hahah…
And that’s pretty much everything I do to take care of my skin. I don’t do masks everyday but when I feel like my skin needs it I love to do apply one. Don’t forget it is very very important to always take off your make-up and also make sure that in the morning your skin is fresh and cleanse so it is ready to tackle the next day without having any residue off the last night.
I really hope you liked the video and this post. Thank you so much for watching the video and also don’t forget to subscribe to my YouTube channel and also like the Video. Make sure to follow me on Instagram and yeah I hope to see you very very soon.
