Hello lovelies ❤
As I already mentioned in my last post. On the November 4th I had the possibility to travel to New York with my sister Vanessa and my father. And I thought it would be cool to tell you a bit where we went at, what we saw and what we did there. Don’t wonder if the pictures are not such a high quality as they usually are, I took the photos mostly with my Samsung Galaxy S6 camera. I hope you enjoy the pics.
4th of November – We had an 8 hour flight ahead of us and of course no chance to sleep in the plane. We left Zurich at 8.50 and arrived in New York at about 10 o’clock.
Here you can see first impressions of New York. Our Hotel was the Hyatt Hotel right next to the Times square.
First thing we did, after checking in and settling down, we went straight to the times square and bought sight-seeing bus tickets. Luckily we chose a good company, so my advice, take the red Hop-on bus which has its station right next to the M&M’s store and a smoothie bar at the times square.
Because this day was so long and tiring (of course, bc of the jet lag) we went to bed early, to be fit for the next day.
5th of November – We got up early. We had breakfast at the Hyatt hotel. My sister chose some Pancakes and I decided to take the Waffles with maple sirup and baked apples on it. #yummy
After breakfast we’ve done the downtown tour. We saw Times Square, Madison Square Garden, Macy’s, Empire State Building, SoHo, Chinatown, Little Italy, Site Of The World Trade Center, Wall Street, Financial District, Battery Park South Street Seaport, Lower East Side, United Nations, Rockefeller Center, Carnegie Hall, Broadway Theater District And Much More.
Times Square
Of course most important shopping destination: Victoria Secret

Charging bull – Wall street
After this tour we went back to the hotel, took a nap and then we had dinner at Mr. Chao. If you like sushi and in general love Chinese food, I highly recommend this restaurant. But don’t forget to book a table otherwise you’re not gonna find any place.
6th of November – We got up early again and went for a walk to find a place to eat. Unfortunately, I can’t remember the name of the restaurant. After breakfast we took the bus to the Empire State Building. Here some impressions from the top of the Empire State building.
Unfortunately the weather was very cloudy but anyway, we had a wonderful view.
This evening we had tickets to watch Lion King at the Broadway. It was such a great show and impressive how many emotions they were able to bring up in every single person. Happiness, sadness, madness and excitement. I would recommend to everyone, if you visit New York don’t miss to watch the Lion King at the Broadway.
7th of November – This Saturday was kind of was a lazy day. We used the day to go downtown shopping and eating and so on. After shopping we found a cute Brazilian restaurant near Soho and the food was delicious. They also made super healthy smoothies.
This evening we had dinner at the Benjamin’s Stakehouse. Don’t forget to book a table 😉 otherwise you have to wait few hours more than we waited even if we had a table.
8th of November – The day we went home. But we exploit every hour we had left to check out uptown.
I think all of you know this museum. Night at the museum.
Central Park
For lunch we went to the Hard Rock Cafe at the Times Square. Yummy Burger
But after all these great things our journey has come to an end and we had to fly back to Switzerland.
What an amazing trip! I went to NYC with some friends a couple years ago and it was so fun. My mom and I are thinking of taking a mother-daughter trip there next year 🙂
